Economy expected to expand 2% to 3% next year with all sectors of the economy projected to record positive growth.
Personal tax relief of RM 6,000 for EPF contribution and life insurance premiums will be increased to Rm 7,000.
1 Malaysia Retirement Scheme, managed by EPF, for self-employed and those without fixed income, Govt will give 5% for every RM100.
RM14.8bil to manage, build, upgrade hospitals, clinics including expanding community clinic services in urban areas.
RM1bil to police to reduce crime, including snatch thefts and robberies by 20%, RM1.9bil to enhance country's border security.
Maximum individual income tax to be reduced to 26% from 27%, for 2010, personal relief increased to RM9,000 from RM8,000
All govt ministries and departments must provide day care and education centres for children, RM200, 000 for each ministry department.
To ensure subsidies benefit target groups, a fuel subsidy system that use MyKad will be introduced.
To promote student spending, service tax of RM50 will be imposed on each principal credit, charge card, Rm25 for supplementary card.
5% tax will be imposed on gains from the disposal od real property from Jan 1, 2010, exemption remains for gifts within family.
In a bid to combat corruption, Whistle Blower Act will be used to protect informers from 2010 and 18 special corruption courts set up.
Legislation will be reviewed and enforcement stepped up against illegal money-lenders or Ah Long and abuses by licensed money lenders.
The PERMATA programme that emphasises early childcare and education, including the gifted child programme, will get RM100mil.
30 top students in the country based on merit- the creme de la creme- will get scholarship to study in best universities in world.
In a bid to develop high quality human quality, RM30bil will be allocated to enhance primary and secondary education nationwide.
RM200mil Creative Industry Fund to finance film, drama, music productions, animation, advertisements through Bank Simpanan Nasional.
RM1.5bil fund to promote green technology by providing soft loans to companies that supply and use green technology.
RM9bil to finance infrastructure projects including road and bridges projects and rail, sea ports and airports facilities.
RM2bil subsidy for farmers and fisherman including subsidies for fertilizers, incentives for padi yields and allowances for fisherman.
RM6bil for agriculture sector for paddy fields irrigation, fish production, fruit farming, livestock, farming infrastructure, training.
Taxpayers will get tax relief on broadband subscription fee of up to RM500 from 2010 to 2012.
